We finished our marriage class tonight. Although I didn’t know if I really wanted to take a night to do it for eight weeks, I’m glad we did + I didn’t have to make dinner 🙌🏼
We have learned to take more dates, which we still need to make happen more often so we can take time away from kids + life and stay connected.
Something I took away from the last session was how thankful I am that my husband leads our family. He works so hard to provide for our family financially + has faith when it doesn’t seem like ends will meet. It was four long years of faith... I love that he has so much faith. It also drives me bonkers how much faith he has 🤪 {I should take a lesson}.
He works really hard so I can stay home with my babies while they are little. I love that he is the leader in our home, but being a leader in our home doesn’t mean that he is above me #NOPE
We do life together. 👫
He is so supportive of me + my big dreams. I love that I have found a job that I can do at home. I needed it for my sanity!!! He sees that it brings so much joy to my life. I get to use my passion for empowering women to live their life out loud. I get to help women feel confident!!!
I am so grateful for him!
Marriage has been the hardest thing ever. Moments where it could be easy to give up, but we didn’t. We pushed forward + prayed a lot. It’s not like playing house... that’s for sure. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s even more HEART work. Changing and learning as you go!
